The day goes by

With two days off at the weekend and lots of illustrations to do,new office is so much fun.I've been enjoying my work so much.so having all this time in hand,am definitely utilizing it reading the tales from far far land, trying new pasta salad, admiring the new pomegranates hanging from the  branches, clicking pictures, sipping on icy orange spice tea and taking naps in-between.it's all worth it.I feel so content and bliss.

So that's how my day was like and now am off to get on with my comic strip project.I have to make at-least one every week.lets see how that comes out.
love Tanisha

"Starry Starry Night"

There's nothing in this world which could give me more happiness then the vibrant rainbow colors and brushes dying to paint the blank sheets with its love.when I woke up this morning there in my mind was a predominant consciousness of myself.I
had to do what am here for and that is to pick up that brush, dip
it in the dreamy colors and paint it through it's way to the
end.end result was not disappointing either :)

My very own watercolor version of Eiffel tower''all pink''

p.s  I need a scanner ^_^

The unexpected-''Simla and Kasuli''

Howdy! I went for a lill weekend trip to Kasuli and simla in Jan but I forgot to share it with you.well actually It  wasn't worth it at all.It was an office trip and I was forced to go (Boss could do that ) Himachal in JAN???I knew it would turnout to be a disaster and it did.we started off at the dark and foggy 10 pm in a highly uncomfortable matador with it's tiny little seats(or maybe I was too huge to fit in lol) the driver was  high, puffing his lill ''bidi'' and singing his native Nepali folk song, ignoring almost everything in his way.gittering in that fierce cold I caught hold of myself and tried to remain intact.somehow we reached Kasuli (Alive) and I sighed in relief.to sum it up in a nutshell ''weekend trip to Kasuli and simla in two days without any sleep sucks'' somehow
I managed to click a few pictures.here's a glimpse:

Instead of Pine trees a long stretch of tiny congested houses - Simla

Simla's most visible, perhaps the most photographed landmark is the Christ Church on the Ridge.

Busy and crowded ''mall road''- Simla

Pony rides!! anyone?? -Simla

Me all packed up with woolens that I couldn't even breath,my expressions says it all haha..

It's definitely good old Simla

Little entrance of Kasuli.that watch tomb was an eye catcher.

Mountains still have rule in this part of Kasuli. that's what I was looking for :)

As I go out for my evening walk, I observed profound changes in the sky.the sunbeams vanishing leaving a magical color to the sky. long, cold, dark and dreary nights of winter. Life existed even then.

''In this beutiful realm, may you seek the unexplored''

''The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page''

I read this line somewhere.being a travel lover,it makes a lot of sense to me. doesn't it to you? being in a job where taking a day off is like taking a debt which you have to return with heavy interest the next day;I often get scared what if I'll die without seeing even a single piece of this beautiful realm of  Nature.

Desi rock band :D

Now here's what I call a true desi rock band, freaking aunties Thursday evening gig at a nearby temple.thanks to their noisy rendition that gets everyone's attention.I think its more to do with the fact that it gives them a chance to be something more then just a wife, mother and daughter.singing at the top of their lungs they just want to vent all their depression on this harsh world.well that's sappy on my side right? ;P but that's what I feel..what the hell.
watch out Metaliica,here they come.lol
