Ahan!! Now that's an effort well paid off.am also over with my constant fear of using colors.I did realize that without trying one couldn't test his/her limitations.Although i always use to think that i could only draw but never color as it's very complicated and only an expert with the right vision and color sense could do it but there was always an urge inside me which use to push me to try it atleast once.so i finally trusted my convictions and did it.i know i have a long way to go but so far so good :D

Water color is the dangerous of em'all :|(gulp...)i know it looks a lill messy as a didn't use the flat brushes at some of the washes and also left a few white places but atleast i know where i lack.will shop for a few more colors and brushes tomorrow(artist grade this time ;D)a few more odds 'n' ends will round out my kit :D

Hmm….So finally back to the traditional ways of hand drawings. No more Photoshop touch ups(at least not for now). It has actually given me a real sense of buoyancy and self-assurance to experiment with the real colors, AND YES!! Am not afraid of colors any more :D Wooooohoooo!!
It’s my very first attempt (after school of course :P) so I think it isn’t that bad. but there are a few glitches, got to work on the shadows and lights a bit more. if I encapsulate the whole thing, I see problems with my visualization. Lights and shadows gives a real depth to the picture that's where i lack…I hate when people tell me ‘’oh! You’re a character animator, so why bother about the drawings?’’ Bleh…. trust me, that’s so not true. No matter what kind of artist you are, a strong drawing base always helps. and when you’re a 3d animator like me, it does come handy at times as software’s have there own limitations. if u can’t visualize, you’ll only end up with trash. Okie ..That’s too much for now :D…

I know i've been saying that am really enjoying blogging but didn't post anything for quite a long time,but i really have been busy with work and stuff.so forget all that and check out this new doodle of ''Makdi Manav'' hehe..he's our desi indian ''Spiderman'' lol. love his ''Dhoti'' why don't indian guys wear it anymore?it really looks appeling!! just liked this pose in one of the comics so thought of doodling it myself.dun know what i was trying to do with the background but i worn out before i could ruin it some more :P so there!!

                                                                         
Meet Corey,he's the new mascot for the logo i was making. m still thinking over his super powers.This generous splash of colors was needed,hehehe...nways , i might do some changes with cloths but for the meanwhile i think it's ok.actually he was looking much better without his pants on..hehehe but then i thought some ppl might would find it unaesthetic (i don't wannna seek unwanted attention for my not so famous blog :p ) it's just the front view,will make the final pose once it's get selected.so hope for the best.
oh! i also wanted to say that am really enjoying bloging.um..it's not that hard to manage a few minutes to write something(don't know why i deleted my previous two blogs :\) okie..not sure what I'll be posting next...oh! June is near and I'll be really busy with my 3d work now. i have nearly stopped working on ''Maya'' so gotta take care of that too.i gotta manage my time among Maya,Flash and life drawings.these are the three things i have to keep hold of.by the way am getting hang of the colors, finally :D

Few days back, i had a little argument with a gentleman sitting at the other side of the internet world :D (don't worry!i won't bore you with all the gory details) well in the end he couldn't argue anymore( it doesn't mean that i won :| ) he called me ''selfish'' and left.as per i never take such things seriously, i grinned... and thought,''SELFISH or SHELLFISH'' hehehe..what a stupid thought! anyways...the gentleman didn't know that i laugh at almost everything.i tried my best to take it seriously but couldn't help myself making this:

Sorry, i didn't post what i promised last time as i have to work on the mascot again due to certain reason ,wink wink..but i still love my lill jing jing.anyways..here's something much more intresting which can inspire any artist on the surface of this earth :D ,my all time favorite dastination ''RAJASTHAN'' one can't help falling in love with its mystique panorama.the old Haveli's ,amazing frescos on the walls saying a different story of its past,beautiful people ,clad in colorful attire,aah...it all just takes my breath away.its a must visit for any travel lover.well i went to Poddar college of Nawalgarh,to conduct a one week class on cut-out animation for students,as a result i also got a reason to visit my favorite place.
