Man on the Train: Hey, are you a dreamer?
Wiley: Yeah.
Man on the Train: I haven't seen too many around lately. Things have been tough lately for dreamers. They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore. It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language. Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists. The dreamer is banished to obscurity. Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too. By dreaming, every day. Dreaming with our hands and dreaming with our minds. Our planet is facing the greatest problems it's ever faced, ever. So whatever you do, don't be bored, this is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive. And things are just starting

Change is inevitable

source image via www.weheartit.com

In this world full of moral dilemmas, are we truly experiencing a shift in our self consciousness? Have we truly started to understand and empathy with the needs of others before our personal interests? when some people have waited or thought of the predicted doomsday of 2012 ,I have always waited for the day of dawn, the day of a planetary awakening of self awareness.when we could understand the simple meaning of our very human existence on this earth rather then following the man made rules and manifestations of life.

If this shift in consciousness has arrived then am sure it will bring peace, happiness and joy to us all.we'll connect ourselves with that supreme energy which could provide us all the ultimate power of being.then there will be no unanswered questions,no confusions and dilemmas.just one holy truth.

It's been a while...

We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment,
We are choosing to be here right now. Hold on, stay inside
This holy reality, this holy experience.

Mario de Miranda ishthayl ^_^

When I was a toddler my dad got this cute calendar from his office.the detailed funny illustrations on it really caught my attention.little that I knew, it was made by Mario Miranda,a cartoonist from Goa(India).later I discovered more of his works. funny cartoons depicting India and finding humor in the chaos and never ending day today problems.I think the saying ''it happens only in India'' was derived from his cartoons :) what I loved the most is his peculiar style with intricate details.I love finding the smallest little things hiding in his works.the more you stare the more you'll find.till date I haven't seen many artist doing it.I tried copying his style from some of his drawings.oh!also, got a beautiful ink pen to work on my inking skills.a lot of practice required for sure.would love to hear your comments.do enjoy works of this legendary artist here : http://www.mariodemiranda.com/

It's Thukpa tonight!!

YESSS!!!!! It's definitely the Thukpa night tonight!I wait whole year for winters so that I could make myself a bowl of this steamy delight.Thukpa is a yummy Tibetan noodle soup and very easy to make.hope you'll like the recipe <3

 Ingredients:

1 medium capsicum
1 medium tomato
1 bowl carrots
1 bowl cabbage
1 onion
1 tb spoon ginger
1 clove garlic
2 tb spoon margarine/butter
4 to five freshly ground black pepper
1 pinch of turmeric powder
1 pinch of  Koupon powder/garam masala (optional)
1 tb spoon vinegar
1 packet curry noodle
salt to taste

method:

thinly slice all the vegetables and grate the ginger and garlic

add the margarine or butter in a pan,add the ginger, garlic and onions slices.let it cook for one minute.add all the vegetables and cook for another minute.add turmeric, black pepper, salt and stir well.then add 4 cups of water.now add your curry noodle.you could also add plain noodle or any other seasoning you like.bring it to a boil.you could also add some more butter if you like.add some vinegar in the end.

garnish with thinly sliced spring onions and cabbage.serve ''HOT''

It's the best on a cold winters night.especially if you've caught cold like my sis :P
